This week, our sound suitcase will be filled with things that have the sh sound in their name, like shell.
sh is called a digraph - this means there are two letters that work together to make one sound.
You can practice writing the sound sh on paper. If you don't have any lined paper, ask your helper to draw you some lines.
Look carefully at where the letters sit on the line.
Try to keep the your letters the same size when you write them.
The sh sound can be at the beginning of the word, in the middle of a word or at the end of a word. There are lots of words in English that have sh sound.
Can you sort these pictures into groups?
