Sound Suitcase

This week, our sound suitcase will be filled with things that have the letters ar in their names like park and shark, star and car, and arm and artist.

You can practice writing the letters ar on paper. If you don't have any lined paper, ask your helper to draw you some lines.

Look carefully at where the letter sits on the line.

Try to keep the letters the same size when you write them.

The ar sound can be at the beginning of the word, in the middle of a word or at the end of a word. There are lots of words in English that have ar sound.
