Reading and Phonics

Reading:

As we are unable to send home our school reading books during this time, Oxford Owl offers a free e-book library. 

It is really important that a child understands what they are reading. Children must be able to show an understanding of both what they are reading themselves and what is being read to them. When listening to your child read or when reading to your child, ask lots of questions to develop their understanding of texts.
